From the Guardian yesterday (I am so out of touch), comes this poorly laid out look at one day's rubbish from a selection of households. Each household's waste is looked at by some experts who give their opinion and provide tips for cutting down on what's thrown away. There’s some useful advice in there, from how to cut down on the amount of junk mail you receive, to making sure you know exactly what can and can’t be recycled in your area.
Worth a read is Reverend Robert Boulter whose rubbish included broken glass, used condoms and needles. He does a nightly sweep of his churchyard... Yeuch.
