The long list for House of the Year 2007 has been announced and there are several British sustainable houses included. The criteria they are measured against are originality, innovation and sustainability, as well as consideration of the context. The Long House is the only British entry to have got through to the final six where it is joined by properties in upstate New York, Spain, Croatia, Japan and South Africa. The overall winner will be announced on Friday 15th February.
