A music video in excel...

AC/DC have released this fan video made in an excel spreadsheet. I am in awe of the sheer boredom at work this individual must have been experiencing and it certainly gives me food for thought...

Photoshop Disasters

I know I've mentioned the photoshop disasters blog before but this one really is a gem. This photo is from the Sept 2008 issue of Marie Claire and the blog has compared their faces against the reflections in the table. Scary stuff. Also. A bit sad.

How to ride a London bus

A genuine1950 Colonial Film Board short film explaining how to ride a London bus. Favoured quote "visitors from overseas are always impressed by the efficiency and comfort of the London transport bus service." Hem.

Ecto-1 for sale on eBay

An Ecto-1 from Ghostbusters is for sale on eBay. The auction will end today so you still have a chance win it. The current bid is $40k but the reserve has not been met. Ecto-1 is a 1959 Cadillac Cadillac M&M with a 8 cylinder engine and the owner says the car is in excellent condition. Boiler suits not included. Bah.

Keith Loutit's time-lapse, tilt-shift films

Keith Loutita is a Sydney based photographer. He says: "These photographs and short films were made in ordinary places, probably not too unlike where you live. Combining a variety of techniques including tilt-shift and time-lapse photography, I aim to present Sydney as the Model City, and help people take a second look at places that are very familiar to them."

A stunning example of his work below. (via)

Village Pet Store And Charcoal Grill

In New York the artist Banksy has opened up "The Village Pet Store And Charcoal Grill" which will remain open until 30th October. He's filled it with animatronics and these include a leopard in the window, fishfingers in a bowl and hot dogs lounging under heat lamps. I quite like the chicken Mcnuggets eating BBQ sauce. Lots more photos and a video here.
